The South Downs Show is the perfect country show for the whole family. We've ensured there's plenty to do for children including an impressive helter skelter, circus skills fun and of course, the awesome animal exhibits!

BlackwELL BUSHCRAFT
Blackwell Bushcraft aspires to improve mental wellbeing by teaching practical outdoor skills to gain self reliance and confidence without the requirement of modern technology.
Come and tap into your ancestors' knowledge and dare to be wild!
Blackwell Bushcraft will be running sessions in the Bush Craft Zone across both days of the show.
PETERSFIELD DISTRICT ANGLING CLUB
This will feature a live casting experience, along with a set up to catch imitation fish (foamex cut-outs) with a seat box, demonstrations about tackle, fish handling and fishing rod with nets to win free coaching lessons.
Old Thyme Funfairs’ Helter Skelter
The ONLY complete wooden example still on tour ornately decorated in a traditional style Helter Skelter is coming to the show! The traditional helter skelter was built, along with four others in the early 1900s by Griffiths and Morgan of Shepherds Bush, London and has recently appeared on ITV’s Downton Abbey.
Jake’s Circus Skills
Jake's Circus skills will be bringing along their huge variety of Circus equipment for everyone to have a go at including Spinning Plates, Diabolo, Fun pedals, Mini bikes, Stilts, Tight wire, Unicycles and lots more…
Juggling Jake and Chris the Juggler will be on hand to assist and demonstrate and may even put on a couple of Shows... Find them under their red and yellow Star Tent.
OLD FASHIONED RIDES
Travel back in time and enjoy some old fashioned rides! Try out the vintage ferris wheel and see the site from above. Lots of fun for all the family.
PUNCH AND JUDY
Old fashioned Punch & Judy and close up magic shows will be taking place throughout each day.

Get yourself an ice cream, grab a seat (hay bale) and get ready to be transported back to days gone by.
LASER CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING
After the popularity of last year, the laser clay pigeon shooting is returning as another FREE attraction for all to enjoy.
Magical Musical Bike
Watch out for the Magical Musical Bike as it comes around the corner, it's quirky, eye catching and full of fun!
South Downs Taekwondo
Taekwondo is fun and energetic activity for all the family, kids, teens & adults. Come along and watch and see if you would like to join a class!
GIANT OUTDOOR GAMES
Play against friends and family with a range of giant outdoor games to enjoy each day for FREE.
MEDIEVAL AXE THROWING
Calling all medieval knights! Come and try your hand at Medieval themed axe throwing. Have a chat with the Knight and try to get the best score of the day to win a prize!
Catapults and Crossbows
Provided by Fireside Events, master the art of Medieval warfare and be transported to the days of knights and chivalry.
British Army
Come and find representatives from the Army who are arriving in force with a climbing wall, VR experience, and other tests of your resilience and courage
Mini Landrovers
Hit the road in a pint-sized Land Rover for off-road expeditions (Kids Only!)
Golf Craziness
Test your coordination, patience, and mini-golf at the South Downs Show. Whether you are bringing years of experience or trying your hand for the first time this will be fun for all!
