We are so excited to announce we will be having a Dog Zone at this year's South Downs Show! 🐕
A dedicated area for all the dog lovers out there. We will have lots of dog themed stalls and charities selling treats, accessories, leads and collars, photography sessions and so much more!
There will also be a specific arena hosting live dog shows and talks throughout the day! Make sure to get your tickets now so you don't miss out on the paw-some fun! 🐶
For all rules during the event, please ask an organiser at the dog show area on the day and they will be happy to explain.
What to expect in 2024
Stallholders
We've assembled an awesome collection of traders selling dog-themed goodies. Come and browse to find treats, accessories, leads, enrichment toys, and more. We are also pleased to be joined by charities such as German Shepherd Rescue and the Portsmouth Greyhound Trust.
Demonstrations
The Dog Zone is equipped with its own arena that will host a series of displays and demonstrations. The line up includes Bentleys Dog Groomers showing us their grooming technique, and a Senior Veterinary Nurse discussing pet first aid and nutrition.
Dog Shows
Enter your own four legged friend into our dog show! With categories including Cutest Puppy, Loveliest Lady, and Handsomest Hound, every dog has the chance to win!

These timings are the same for Saturday and Sunday.
The Best In Show will be selected from all the winners of the Dog Zone at 4pm in the Main Arena. Don't miss it!

CANINE PARTNERS
A registered charity that transforms the lives of people with physical disabilities by partnering them with assistance dogs. Our amazing dogs bring a greater independence and quality of life to their partners, offering security, companionship, and practical help with everyday household tasks. Watch one of our demonstrations to learn all about how we train our wonderful dogs and see some of the tasks they can help with.

GROOMERS
Luxury dog groomers for your favourite dog (and cat) who also provide training for anyone who dreams of becoming their own boss and would like a career in dog grooming.

KELLY MCGRATH
A qualified Small Animal Veterinary Nurse and experienced Head of Veterinary Nursing. Skilled in Quality assurance, teaching, curriculum and assessment development.
A passion for supportive therapies and holding qualifications in veterinary health nutrition, hydrotherapy and studying towards a veterinary physiotherapy qualification.
We can't wait to hear from Kelly on the day when she shares her knowledge.
